The main theme and objectives of the book are to unveil the mystery of a cheerful tribe, the Kalasha of the Hindu Kush valleys, Himalayas. The book is entirely original as it is a novel approach and an insight into the Kalasha way of life, customs and culture. Its intended readership can be scholars involved in cultural anthropology, humanities, sociology, and, of course, the general public. Based on fieldwork research, the material of the book also includes original recorded tales and songs, all translated into English.
